Originally from Long Island, Haley Hasho’s career in real estate began when she started working at a boutique firm in Manhattan after spending time at Citibank in the compliance sector. With a legal background, she wanted to segue into a more dynamic industry where she could cultivate an independent book of business and relationships with landlords across the city.
Haley is an Investment Sales Associate at New York Multifamily’s top producing brokerage team where she advises sellers how to strategically market their buildings across Harlem and the Upper West and identify buyers who are able to execute in a timely manner. After a transaction is complete, Haley guides clients with completing a 1031 Exchange into either another multifamily property or a single net leased tenant asset that yield no management duties.
Haley’s interest in commercial real estate began when she joined University of Richmond’s Mock Trial team and became a top national competitor, in which she was most recognized as a keen negotiator on the prosecutorial side. With the ability to mitigate objections and improvise case strategy, she found these skillsets highly applicable to the fast-paced, intensive nature of the Manhattan marketplace.
She attended University of Richmond, Stanford and Oxford, where she was a public speaking and writing coach, ultimately graduating with honors in Rhetoric. When Haley is not on the blocks of Upper Manhattan, she visits her family in Charleston, is an avid swing dancer, classical pianist and enjoys a good game of chess.
