Professional History

Working on the New York Multifamily Team of Marcus & Millichap, Tom has consistently ranked as one of the top agents in the Brooklyn Office since 2014. Today he oversees the team’s transactions through the Eastern and Western Brooklyn markets, specifically the neighborhoods of Bushwick-Ridgewood, Park Slope, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights.

In 2017, he and his team arranged the sale of an 18-building portfolio through Western, Central and Northern Brooklyn for approximately $76,000,000. Other notable transactions include the sale of the Queens Motor Inn for $13,000,000 and since 2014, he has sold nearly 80 properties through Bushwick and Ridgewood ranging between multifamily, mixed-use properties and development sites.

For many of his clients, he has guided their transition out of one asset into another, whether that be another local multifamily asset or a triple-net leased property across the country. He has proven himself an invaluable resource through his understanding of start-to-finish deal execution, the New York City housing regulation system and his pulse of the Brooklyn multifamily marketplace.

Among many accolades, Tom was Brooklyn’s Rookie of the Year in 2014 and was recently honoured as one of Commercial Observer’s Top 30 under 30 Brokers in NYC.

His career in real estate started at the age of 18, renting and selling apartments while attending Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual-concentration in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.

While at school, he co-founded a production company focused on the orchestration of nightlife events and concerts across the east coast which hosted audiences of up to 3,000 guests and featured many of today’s most recognizable names in music.

In 2014, he founded For the Kids Global Endowment Fund which hosts events across the city to raise awareness for child non-profit organizations. He has hosted events in support of the Children’s Glaucoma Foundation, Angelman Syndrome, and the Academy for Urban School Leadership.

He currently resides in Chelsea.
