David Lloyd’s real estate career began early as an Intern with Marcus & Millichap. It was during that time that he developed a passion for Manhattan real estate and the fast paced brokerage business. After graduating from University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics with a degree in finance, David joined both Peter Von Der Ahe and Joe Koicim on a mission to run the #1 multifamily brokerage team in the company. David has grown to become a partner on the team, which is now currently ranked as the #1 multifamily team in the Manhattan office as well as one of the top teams in the entire company. David currently mentors several junior brokers and ranks as one of the top agents in the Manhattan Office.
David specializes solely in mixed-use and multifamily buildings In Manhattan. Over the past 12 months, David has closed over 20 transactions for over $300 Million and has received Marcus and Millichap’s National Achievement Award in back to back years (2014, 2015). Some of David’s most notable transactions include the sale of a 16 building portfolio in Manhattan for $131.5 Million, a portfolio on East Third Street for $58 Million and a prime elevator building on East 32nd Street for $52 Million.
Originally from Massachusetts, David experienced success in athletics growing up, which was highlighted by scoring a record-setting 61 points in a high school basketball game and being nominated as a McDonald’s All-American. David currently resides with his wife in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, reading and traveling.
